  Now, before you all burn me at the stake (no pun intended), realize that I rate this place poorly, because I have tried this place multiple times and have tried very hard to enjoy it, because all of my friends do and I can't seem to figure out why.
  
  My steak never comes the way I order it, all of the sides I've tried (besides that deep fried onion which is the saving throw of this place), have been rather dull, and for reasons I can't explain, the place is always packed to the point that the staff is over burdened to the point of service being painfully slow.
  
  Honestly, the place isn't THAT terrible. It's just, for the prices they charge, I would expect a lot better. The same can be said about a lot of places people love to waste tons of money on mediocre food at (COUGH OLIVE GARDEN COUGH).
  
  Anyways, at the end of the day, if I'm paying 30 bucks for a steak dinner, I expect it to be good, and not make me wish I would of just went to Meijers and bought my own and did it better for half the price. Honestly, there are so many nice places to eat in Brighton. I implore you, go look around and try something else. You might be pleasantly surprised.

  This only is my second time to patronize this Outback in 15 years because of my first experience. The first time I was asked if I left room for desert 10 minutes after I was served my meal that I was a third of the way into and still eating. Five minutes later, while I was eating still, I was asked if I "wanted a box for that." I asked if I could please finish my meal. So, now, 15 years later - the music is way too loud (a problem I have noticed lately in most chain restaurants), the staff constantly interrupts your table conversation (being overly attentive can be just as annoying as being under attentive) and getting the customer out that door ASAP continues to be the ultimate goal ( I know you are still eating and "not to rush you, but here is your check - pay me when you are ready") even though the restaurant only was full to 1/10th of its capacity. Other than that, it was great. ☺

  I would recommend this place to anyone. My experience was outstanding. I will be returning.
