  This is my favorite restaurant in Brighton. The ambiance is great, and the staff are always courteous and attentive. In the 5 years I've been coming here, I have had zero complaints. I'm hard to please when it comes to food, so this says a lot. Hats off to the Ciao Amici's team for a consistently excellent experience! My appetite is forever grateful to you all :)

  The food was good, my dish was a little bland but the waitress we had was extremely rude. She practically asked us not to order food because the kitchen was slow, took 20 minutes to take our order, never asked if we wanted another basket of bread, didn't offer fresh ground pepper or Parmesan like we saw all of the other tables offered. At the end of our visit she brought us one bill (we were a group of 5 in our mid-twenties) it took us ten minutes to flag her down to separate it and when we got a hold of her she made us write out who had what because she didn't write it down in the first place. She was curt and cold throughout the evening, making us feel like an inconvenience, rather that her guests. We were thoroughly displeased with her attitude.
  On the other hand the hostess and bus staff were very kind and attentive.
  I would eat here again but I would request a different waiter.
